<< RETURN TO ARCHIVES March 10, 2005 - On March 10, the FRDA Orlando Economic Crime Council met in Orlando for its second meeting. The council was represented by 15 members from Buddy’s Home Furnishing, Rentway, Rent-A-Center and Rent King. Detective Craig Fulton from the Orange County Sheriffs Department lead the session with very informative and informational material regarding filing, paperwork, and the expectations of documentation. Detective Fulton provided the council members with copies, samples, and procedures on how rent-to-own companies should file criminal complaints.
Detective Shares Tips on Documentation At March Economic Crime Council Meeting
The next ECC meeting on the April 14 should be just as informative, but from the other side of the coin. Arrangements have been made for State Attorney Stephen Foster to speak at our next session. We encourage all store managers, account managers, and anyone associated with rent-to-own not to miss this session. We will try to keep everyone abreast of any changes to our itinerary in the next coming days.
